With half term fast approaching its time to think of some interesting events to keep yourself and your children sane. October is a brilliant time to explore Dorset, the changing scenery and weathers can make it a great time to get out and explore.

The Dorset Wildlife Trust has a great selection of activities for all ages to join in. Based along the coastline there are lots of interesting activities that they offer, especially for children.
Monday 25th October – Seashore Safari. Kimmeridge Bay is offering a seashore safari to learn a little more about our coastlines.

Wednesday 27th October – Autumnal Family walk and apple pressing. Meeting at the kingcombe centre, taking a walk through the nature reserve and enjoying nature in its glory. Then some apple pressing and printing to finish the day.

Thursday 28th October – Stormy Strandline Detective. One of the best times to visit Chesil is nearer the Winter months. This is when the storm unveils what lays beneath the water.
