Weymouth town center is set just seven miles South of the county town of Dorchester. Considered a gem to be found along the Jurassic Coast this town offers sandy beaches, period harbour and picturesque coastlines. 

With a population of Weymouth is just slightly shy of 70,000 which makes it the third largest town behind Poole and Bournemouth. 

In 2012, Weymouth was recognised for its beauty and mass of outdoors facilities when it hosted the London Olympic Games at the National Sailing Academy on Portland. Since the area has been noted to have one of the best beaches in Europe, its easy to see why..

Along with the numerous year round events the town also offers quality education, there is three outstanding secondary schools and Weymouth College.

Whilst being a seaside town and a lot of the area relying on seasonal work, there is also great opportunities for younger people to advance their career and work in the town year round. Unemployment rate is lower that the national average.
